Job Description
Job Position Summary:
- Responsible to handle the entire station Airport Services operations, as second in command.
- At the respective airport. He/ she will be operations head during the shift, reporting to Airport Manager.
- Monitoring flights, liaising with all departments for smooth turn around of the flight ensuring OTP, safety, security of the operations.
- Act as APM in absence of Airport Manager.
Key responsibilities:
- To ensure functioning of safety, security and quality system within the area of responsibility.
- Preparation of duties and allocations to all covering all operational areas of airport.
- Brief policies and procedures to all operating staff during the shift and monitor effectiveness.
- Plan manpower and equipment for effective and efficient operations and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Propose disciplinary actions to airport manager where required after due investigations.
- Ensure that equipment, vehicles and accommodation are maintained and kept serviceable and correctly used at all times.
- Check grooming of all employees and guide them to adhere with the policy.
- Do appraisals as per HR guidelines.
- Ensure discipline followed for reporting times of employees , especially as operations are hugely dependant on sufficient manpower and equipment to turnaround the flight.
- Responsible for reporting to his superiors' occurrences, events, violations and acts that may affect safety, security and company reputation. Fill up required forms/ formats on reporting of incidents in timely manner to reporting manager and safety teams.

- Airport Manager
Position supervises:
- Supervisors, Sr CSE, CSE of terminal, ramp and cargo staff.
Travel needed:
- Related to trainings out of the city he/she is based.
